Everything you need to know

Can't find the answer you're looking for? Our team is here to help with any concern about your vision and health.

We provide complete ophthalmology and ENT services: general visits, cataract surgery, refractive surgery (LASIK), glaucoma treatment, retinal laser therapy, vitreoretinal surgery, oculoplasty and ocular prostheses. For the ear, nose and throat we offer audiometry, tympanometry and videolaryngoscopy.

Suitable candidates are usually people aged 18–60, with a stable prescription for at least one year and a sufficiently thick, healthy cornea. A preliminary assessment with topography and pachymetry determines whether LASIK is safe for you; for very high prescriptions, intraocular lenses may be recommended instead.

No. Laser refractive procedures are performed under local anesthesia with numbing drops and are painless. Some patients may feel a mild burning or watering sensation for one to three hours after treatment, which passes quickly.

Most eye procedures, including cataract and LASIK, are performed under local anesthesia with drops that numb the eye — without injections and without hospital admission. Sometimes a mild oral sedative is given for extra comfort during the procedure.

Most patients notice improvement within a few days, while full healing is reached within 1–2 weeks. During the first days, avoid rubbing the eye, lifting heavy objects and contact with water or dust, and follow the prescribed course of drops closely.

Untreated glaucoma can lead to permanent vision loss, since damage to the optic nerve is irreversible. However, with early diagnosis and regular treatment using drops, laser or surgery, most patients retain useful vision throughout their lives. Regular check-ups are the key.

Yes. We provide ophthalmology and ENT care for both adults and children, including specialized pediatric examinations and treatments, such as strabismus and refractive errors in young patients.

Bring an ID document, your current glasses or contact lenses, any previous medical reports or examinations, and a list of the medications you take. If you wear contact lenses, remove them a few hours before the visit for the most accurate measurements.

Yes. If your pupils are dilated with drops or you undergo a procedure, your vision may be temporarily blurred and you should not drive — so we recommend coming with a companion.

We accept cash, debit or credit card, bank transfer and health insurance subject to active agreements. Please contact us in advance to confirm coverage for the service you need.

Yes. In addition to ophthalmology, we offer ENT diagnosis and treatment, including audiometry for hearing, tympanometry for the middle ear and videolaryngoscopy to assess the voice and vocal cords.
