Professionalism & Dedication
Dr. Orjeta Tonuzi is an ENT specialist with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience. After studying general medicine (1992–1998) and completing her residency in Otorhinolaryngology (2003–2007), she pursued doctoral studies focusing on the field of ENT-ophthalmology.
Since 2009, Dr. Tonuzi has been an ENT specialist at the Albanian Eye Center (QSHS) and, since 2013, an ENT physician in the ENT-Ophthalmology Department of the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center, Tirana. Since 2010 she has been a specialist in endoscopic lacrimal duct surgery, following specialized training in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India.
She has taught as a lecturer at the Faculty of Medical Sciences since 2003, in the subjects of Normal Anatomy, ENT and Head & Neck Surgery. She has presented her work at national and international congresses and has published scientific papers in internationally indexed journals.
